Heights Summerfest in Albuquerque

Last weekend Sariskiz was present at the Heights Summerfest that took place at the North Domingo Baca Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The event was a music festival that hosted Cali Shaw Band, Alex Maryol, The Porter Draw, and Rusted Root who closed with the famous song from the animated movie Ice Age: “Send Me On My Way”.  It was a very relaxing event, with nice music, where attendees were arriving with their family, friends and dogs carrying blankets or folding chairs to take advantage of the vast green land available for everyone.

Our first impression was that we were going to melt under the extremely hot and shining sun. The event started at 5:00 pm, but Sariskiz had to be there at 3:00 pm to check in and accommodate. To our surprise, a strong wind started to pick up while we were setting up our shop. It felt and looked like rain was imminent, so we thought about all the difficulties introducing our products under a windy weather. However, and luckily enough, the wind disappeared and the rain turned out to be a two-minute-drizzle which left us with a nice breezy night. In conclusion, the weather in Albuquerque New Mexico is as crazy as the one in El Paso Texas: we are always amazed by how quickly the sky changes its mood and alters what we get down on earth.

The festival was filled with attractive merchandise that included all types of artisan products you can imagine. There were organic smoothies (very delicious by the way), handmade soaps, cartoon drawers, skin painters, handmade jewelry, air plant sellers (which of course Sariskiz got a set of them), etc.

At Sariskiz Corporation, we are committed to bring you handmade-high quality products.

As Sariskiz we can tell you that we were very pleased that our products were accepted with arms wide open. It was amazing to hear people tell us that they loved our products because they served a purpose. Overall, going to the first Summerfest in Albuquerque was a very gratifying experience, people was super nice, ambience was relaxing, and last but not least we got to see dogs of all kinds of breeds (big plus).  We enjoyed it so much that we will try to attend the upcoming festivals. See you soon!
